Hello, this is my first time posting here. I browse here a lot of the time but I tend to just look, not reply. I've tried recently but have yet to get any kind of responses.
So about myself, my name's Steven, but most just tend to call me Steve (just simpler I guess). I'm 21 years old, 22 at the end of April; I'm a fairly average guy, both in looks in personality. I love to draw in my free time, I've been drawing for most of my life. I also enjoy being on the computer, for not just web browsing and chatting, but for graphics; I'm currently going for a degree in graphics at Western Career college in San Jose. My artwork's posted on a few websites, so if anyone ever wanted to view them, you could feel free to ask and I can give you the links.
I guess I see myself as kind of a shy person. I'm usually a quiet guy at first, but tend to open up with time, especially if I know a person likes me and all. I'm a very sensitive person, I don't like being judged on image alone, or being made fun of because of my interests and looks, so please don't. I'm also sorta nerdish, I like video games and computers of course, I do wear glasses, although they're not really nerdy, I just have bad eyesight (I sat too close to the tv as a child lol). I'm also a diabetic, I've been one for about eight years, I have the type I kind, meaning I have to take insulin injections and test my blood sugars daily.
Like the title says, I'm looking for friends, but I'd also like to develop a relationship if the opportunity arose. I have a lot of friends who have relationships and I'd like to have one myself. But for now, I wanna get to know someone first before I were to jump into that sort of thing.
What I'm looking for, basically anyone in my age range (19 to 23 or 24), I don't tend to be picky as far as looks go; pics would be good but if you can't supply one, then a good description will do as well. I'd really like to meet or find someone who's artistic like myself, and in particular, someone who draws what I do; I tend to draw a lot of fantasy stuff, mainly anime as well as anthromoprhic characters, if you need a better idea, again, my art's posted on a few sites, ask me and I'll link you them so you get a better idea. If you're not an artist, that's ok, as long as you respect what I do and can have a liking for it; who knows, if I like you, you might inspire me and become one of my pictures. But most importantly, I just wanna meet someone who won't judge me on my looks alone, I wanna meet a person(or persons) who can get to enjoy me for me, my personality, who I am. I may not look all that attractive, but I'm a really nice guy if given a chance.
As far as contacting me goes, for now, I just wanna get to know someone through either email or Instant Messaging, which I'm available on all the main ones (AIM, Yahoo, and MSN), I'll give those out to you if you're interested.
Hopefully I did this right, and I hope to get a reply or two. Thanks for taking the time to read this to those who do. ^^
