The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, sharp and poised with the ability to learn quickly. Responsibilities include coordinating attorney calendars, scheduling client-attorney appointments, creating, organizing and maintaining client files, transcribing (from tape) correspondence and pleadings, preparing documents for court filing and service, creating and revising correspondence, pleadings, leases and other legal documents and time-entry. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Docs Open, Legal Mac Pac, Interaction, Microsoft Outlook, Martin Dean & Legal Solutions is essential. The firm is seeking a team player who is well organized and detail-oriented, personable with clients, not easily flustered and has the ability to take the initiative and ask questions when appropriate.
