(Everyone's been asking about the original posting, and this is as close to it as I can get! It was so good it was worth reposting! Please, enjoy this for what it is; a means to smile. And everyone needs to smile....)

As far as I'm aware, this gorgeous specimen of a spider whom i've lovingly named "leggy" has been living in my bathtub for about four months. He (or she, i really couldn't get close enough to tell) has legs about 1.5" long and a plump, round body.
My bathtub/shower was on hiatus for that period (don't worry, i showered in an alternate bathroom in the house!) but it's becoming cumbersome to lug all my shower supplies down the hall and i would like to reclaim my bathroom. i don't think that Leggy would get alone with any other members of my family, so i would like a spider-loving family to adopt him.
i considered putting him out into the wild, but after reading such extensivly scary posts about how cold it is outside, i balked at that gesture.
since i cannot sell him and i simply cannot just GIVE him to anyone, an adoption fee will be required.
Leggy, because of his mysterious origins, is NOT ASC certified (American Sprider Club)
