I am offering my services of legal writing and research support to all interested attorneys. I am a member of the State Bar of Pennsylvania, the Western Federal District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. My wife and I maintained a successful private legal practice in Pittsburgh prior to our recent move to Santa Cruz, California. I authored a published brief/case in the Arizona Court of Appeals (State v. Crowley, 41 P.3d 618 (AZ.App.2002)). My fomer employer Clay Hernandez, Esq. was the named defense counsel on that case.
I just completed the California Bar Exam this February and will not have my results until May. In the mean time, I have several years of experience in effective persuasive legal writing and researching. My primary area of practice is criminal defense but I can research and write on other areas of law as well. I have ample access to legal research engines and law libraries. This service can save you an incredible amount of time and money. The cost of legal support such as motion writing and research can often be billied seperately and allows an attorney to focus more on the dynamics of the courtroom, clients, etc.
I am happy to fax or email writing samples and/or my resume. I can work on larger projects or on less complex motion writing. I am willing to work and correspond through email, fax, postal mail, or in person where appropriate.
