POSITION: Executive Assistant or Legal Administrator

LOCATION: Menlo Park, CA

BUSINESS HOURS: 8AM to 5PM, Monday thru Friday. Work Hours may be longer or shorter depending on tasks that day.

EDUCATION: BA or BS (at a minimum)

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years experience in Professional and\or Legal environment.

PROFICIENCY IN:
-Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
-Windows XP Operating System
-Microsoft Outlook, Organization of Mail Folders, and Email Usage.
-Internet Explorer, and performing advanced Searches in IE.
-Operation of Printers and Fax Machines
-Client\Server and VPN – Basic Conceptual Understanding
-FedEx and UPS Shipping Procedures
-Installing Basic Applications (Winzip. MS Updates, etc.)
on your own PC.
- MUST DEMONSTRATE EXCELLENT WRITING SKILLS

REQUIRED SKILLS:

-must be able to take the initiative to immediately respond to client
letters, calls and emails.
-must be able to work alone or with others.
-must be articulate.
-must be confident.
-must have excellent time-management skills.
-must be calm and collected under pressure.
-must be able to speak intelligibly to lawyers, professors, and ceo’s.
-must be able to quickly learn and understand new technological
concepts.

BONUS SKILLS – (these skills will be taught on the job as well)

-ability to read, evaluate, and critique expert witness curriculum vitaes.
-ability to read and understand patents.
-knowledge about the patent filing process and\or the patent litigation
process.
-ability to perform technical research in the areas of computers (hardware.
software), semiconductor equipment, telecommunications and wireless,
biotechnology, etc.
