AIMCO, one of the nation’s largest property management companies is currently seeking an experienced outgoing Leasing Consultant for our Apartment Community in San Mateo (418 units). Strong customer service and sales skills with professional attitude and appearance are a must.
Responsible for all activities related to apartments rentals and resident retention. Follow up with prospective residents.
Tour prospective residents showing all amenities of the community and the apartment homes.
Lease apartment homes and enter a variety of information into computer programs.
Comply with all State, Local and Federal Fair Housing and ADA laws.
Qualifications
·Professional attitude and appearance.
·Excellent telephone etiquette
·Strong communication and sales skills.
·Flexible energetic and organized
·Able to work weekends including Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
·Ability to multi-task, quickly adapt to change, and team player.
·Outgoing, warm and friendly.
·Familiar with AMSI or YARDI a plus
·Microsoft Outlook / Office.
·Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Leasing Consultants assist prospective residents in making the crucial decision - As the community ambassador, the Leasing Consultant requires excellent communication skills and outstanding sales techniques. As the first contact with potential residents, you'll not only schedule and conduct community tours, but also assist with lease form and agreement completion, and collection of rental deposits. Top Leasing Consultants also research competing properties, and assist with resident requests. Candidates must possess a strong desire for personal growth and development, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact well with others. A high school diploma is also required. Leasing Consultants have wonderful opportunities at AIMCO.
