Description First a big thank you to all the special agents that have kept our country safe from Islamic terrorists bent on destruction and mayhem. Kudos for increasing the priority of investingating public corruption. God knows the bay area is rampant with corruption from school district embezzlement of federal funding, to city councilmembers taking bribes and steering tax dollars to their biggest contributors to corruption within local police departments.

Those with absolute power seem to abuse the system and the taxpayers the most. We all pay and our democracy is eroded. I welcome the FBI in increasing investigations into public corruption in the area. We can all do our part by providing information and documenting all cases of corrupt behaviour we encounter, from embezzled school funds, nepotism in city contracting, falsification of police reports, abuse of power while sworn to protect, coverup of criminal activities take your pick(planting evidence, coverup, using criminal informants to falsely accuse citizens, taking bribes to protect criminal entitities, etc..etc...

The FBI is often maligned in the bay area, from experience I can tell you they are a talented, responsible bunch of professionals who value integrity. They even bought me lunch while pouring over files for hours and hours.

Public corruption is now the FBI's number 4 priority after terrorism, espionage and cyber crimes. A much needed priority change here in the bay area where almost daily we see politicians, police officers and others in public positions caught committing crimes against citizens. Public corruption affects us all, our safety, our schools, even the potholes not filled in our streets when taxpayer dollars are embezzled, misused or end up in campaign reelection accounts.
