S. R. Freeman, Inc. is a premier provider of construction services to discerning general contractors and homeowners. One hundred percent of our work is high-end, custom residential building, specializing in framing, but also providing full service contracting for remodels. We are seeking top-notch working foremen, and journeyman carpenters with at least 4 years experience in high-end residential frame carpentry and a familiarity/comfort with laying-out and completing the involved, unusual, and often tricky framing that many of these fine homes require. The ideal candidate for this job will be a responsible, ambitious, and energetic person who loves to take challenges head-on. This is a steady, full-time position with year-round work.

Working Foremen: $28-$35 per hour
To work with our company in this position you must enjoy working with people and building things. You should have much awareness of electrical, plumbing, heating, roofing, concrete trades and anticipate their needs on the job.
The following items are needed for this position-
•Mastery of framing skills including layout and construction of walls, floors, stairs, and roofs.
•Self starter, able to get results with minimal supervision
•4+ years experience
•Must have your own tools and truck
•Very strong organizational skills and problem solving skills
•Be socially adept, have a positive attitude, and able to work with others
•Read structural and architectural building plans
•Have UBC code awareness
•Act professionally with clients and other workers
•Basic Spanish helpful but not mandatory
•Able to lift 100 pounds and pass physical for construction related work
Journeyman Carpenter: $21-28 per hour
Years of work in construction aren’t as necessary as a desire to do high quality work and complete projects on time. We need people who can think independently, follow through with a project to its completion, and care about the finished product.
The following items are needed for this position-
•Proficiency of framing skills including layout and construction of walls, floors, stairs, and roofs.
•Good social skills- ability to work closely with others.
•Ability to lift 100 pounds and pass physical for construction related work
•Must have your own tools and truck
•Ability to come up with solutions, think on your feet.
•Desire to do high quality work, whether rough framing, or finish trim.
