Worked on a B2B financial project for a financial services provider company. XpenseManagement is a web application for employee expense management, reimbursement and accounting. The project involved storing information about a corporate client’s expense reimbursement policies, its employee database and processing expense claims of the employees. Different modules required generating expense data entry forms, facility to simultaneously edit multiple expense reports per account, generation of itemized expense reports and expense summary, provision of notification & electronic approval from the supervisor and electronic disbursement of money to the client’s employees. It also involved options to generate different finance reports for a specified period of time based on different parameters for analysis and tracking purpose.
I worked in this project on database design, site design and in developing the backend server side business logic.

09/ 02 Daily Payroll Planner:
As a lead developer designed and implemented “Daily Payroll Planner” (DPP). DPP is a web based (Intranet) payroll projection/scheduling tool with reporting module. It is used by stores to accurately project sales and payroll data for managing resources. It provides a standard method for collection, process and analysis of daily/ weekly payroll and sales data. For upper field management it provides rolled up reports and centralized control of the payroll with seamless data access at all levels (Store, District, Region and Zone).
• Lead the initiation, design, and implementation.
• Designed the application using OOAD methodology, J2EE with Façade design pattern, EJB (BMP), and MVC II architecture
• Design and development of Data Access objects using JDBC and DB2connect, business logic layer (Business objects and stateless EJBs) and the presentation layer (servlets and JSPs)
• Worked on the prototype for delivering the gathered data to other enterprise applications using XML and Middleware messaging technologies (JMS, TIBCO).

Messages and Shipment reports) to stores. It also serves as launching pad for Store Web applications by
providing single sign-on.It also allows Stores to organize tasks/events with a fiscal calendar.
• Designed and developed a workflow module used by the headquarters to publish information to stores and upper field management based on workflow rules. Main features include: document content management, and translation workflow.
• Designed and implemented the business logic layer (A Stateless Session bean, and business objects), the Data Access objects using JDBC and the presentation layer (Servlets and JSPs).
