Back On Track is looking for Tutors/Mentors that want to make a difference in the life of an underserved K-12 student for two hours per week over an academic school year (Sept-May). Tutors/Mentors and students set goals and evaluate progress collaboratively. Provide much needed guidance and support.
We are a community-based tutorial program, providing free one-on-one academic assistance to students in grades K-12. The students served are primarily from the Western Addition and attend public schools throughout SF. Careful matching, training, workshops, "check-ins", computers, library, games and field trips are provided.
