My first project to complete within two months was a migration from ATG Dynamo (Windows) 5.6 to version 7.1 (Linux). The migration was successful, went smooth, and all tasks were communicated to the business users.

January 2002 to 2005 Intrax Inc. (hands-on) Director of IT (San Francisco)

I have been employed during the entire Information Technology Recession in the bay area

When joining Intrax Inc, the desktop environment consisted of a mix of Macintosh and PC's. The server environment consisted of three clone PC's acting as servers running Exchange 5.5, a file server, and a Terminal Session Server. The network did not have a switch, just hubs. Multiple network protocols were in use.

I had to also ensure that we were Sarbanes-Oxley compliant due to working with the Department of State compliance.

Today we have a consistent environment with 100% PC's, 24 rack mounted servers with Web services, file/print, Terminal Sessions, SQL Server 2000, Coldfusion MX Enterprise, DNS/DHCP, ITMonitor, Soloman Accounting, Exchange 2003, Sharepoint Services, Windows 2003/2000 server, and TCP/IP as the primary network protocol. We have an HP Procurve switches with enough ports to support future growth, Cisco PIX firewalls, dual T1's for bandwidth, and Cisco routers.

I have also implemented SUSE Linux for OpenExchange and Redhat running our conference room scheduling application and acting as Jabber servers for field staff communications.
