Everyone has certain pre-requisites when it comes to choosing a partner. I've found many women tend to choose the completely arbitrary height of 5'10", some want a man who has a Master's Degree, some won't tolerate smokers. Men do the same thing. We compile all of these different qualities to make our list, and as time goes on we sort of figure out which ones are really important. And yet, if you list a sexual attribute people act like you have some sort of problem. Why can't a woman or a man include aomsething sexual in their list without certain segments of society thinking they have some kind of problem? We're talking about one of the central things in a relationship, so why 'chance it'?
So what's mine? I have an impossibly high sex drive. I'm not trying to be funny. I've been to the Doctor for it and everything. Apparently there's nothing wrong with me, I just have a freakishly high sex drive. You might think every man does, but not like this. It's affected many things about my life, but not in a bad way. I don't objectify women or treat them badly, quite the opposite. I have however had a very active sex life, and tend to be very experiemntal as far as more than two people in bed, different 'activities', etc. I've gone back and forth between traditional relationships and open relationships, and figure I need to settle somewhere in the middle. It definitely isn't all about sex though. I'm looking for that special someone that I can walk down a San Francisco street on a chilly morning with, or through the Farmer's Market in the quest for good fruit. Someone I can wake up in the middle of the night, and know she's there, and rest my face against the warm back of her neck. Someone who will give me a kick in the ass when I need it, and console me when I feel like the world is hammering on me a bit too much.
There is nothing simple about finding your other half, and to pretend otherwise would be a lie. I'm in my 30th year, a year that is turning out to be pretty good. I turn heads, which has helped to facilitate my 'adventures'. :) Fitness is important to me, for the same reason that safe sex is, because I want to live to be an old man. And look good naked. I have a day job that pays the rent and feeds my cat, but mostly I am a writer, and a writer dangerously close to getting an agent, at that. I prefer women 24-32 (that appears to be my dating age range) pretty and in good shape, friendly with cats (actual cats, that's not a metaphor), who can tolerate riding in a Jeep Wrangler, me playing blues guitar and singing, and like sushi.
