We are currently accepting two(2)bright and energetic fun lovinng children to join us in our fun activities begining March 20, 2006. We are an established pre-school in the Ingleside Terrace section of San Francisco. For 27 years we have been providing our community with affordable childcare and that has been our legacy, but we are raising the bar in pre-school education as we prepare for the Pre-School for All Initiative.
We are affordable and we accept most childcare subsidies for payment to our Pre-School. CalWorks, Children's Council, and Wu Yee.
The curriculum is carefully planned to provide continuity and progressive development of children. Children learn to feel good about themselves as they learn to work with others. The curriculum includes:

· Music and Rhythmic Movement through Kindermuzik
· Art Activities
· Reading and Math Readiness
· Nature and Science Experiences
· Alphabet and Numerical Activities
· Gross and Fine Motor Coordination
· Language Development
· Visual and Auditory Perception Activities
Each day has a balance of free choice and group activity, quiet play and active play, indoor and outdoor play (when possible), large muscle and small muscle manipulation activities (cutting, puzzles, etc.).

What we offer:
A dynamic education with an emphasis on creative curriculum (especially art, early childhood literacy and character development), and child development in order to prepare our students to be successful as they begin their journey toward higher education. We offer basic Spanish classes and Movement and Music Class with a Kindermuzik teacher for all of our students. We serve an Ethnically diverse population of students in our Kindergarten Readiness Class, we boast a 1:8 staff to student ratio, a year-round curriculum, potty training assistance and we offer ESL instruction.
We are accessible by Public Transportation and we boast an excellent proximity to SFSU & City College. We offer a schedule for parents to select what is best for their family by allowing them to choose to have their child attend 3, 4 or 5 days per week, part or full time. We are open from 7am - 6pm, Monday through Friday.
Our programs:
The Bettye O. Simon-Johnson "Safe Haven" Afterschool Program was specifically designed for the underserved children in the OMI District that are currently in grades Kindergarten through 3rd. Much like this program's namesake, the late Mrs. Bettye O. Simon-Johnson, it is our intention to continue to help children to develop and strive to become better than their life circumstances. (We do offer school pick-ups for this program).
Kidz Klub was specifically designed to enable working parents the opportunity to reconnect with each to have a date night on a monthly basis. Kidz Klub meets the 1st Saturday of every month. We provide your child wiith dinner, a craft project and a movie.
