Duties & Responsibilities
Cascadia Capital is seeking an experienced Analyst to join its Mergers & Acquisitions Investment Banking Group in their Seattle headquarters. Analysts in the M&A Group work on a variety of projects including: sellside and buyside transactions, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts and financings, and corporate advisory work. Day to day responsibilities include:
• Developing company financial and valuation models
• Drafting information memorandums and management presentations
• Managing due diligence efforts working directly with management teams and buyer/seller groups
• Participating in firm marketing/business development efforts including the development of pitch books
• Partnering with senior bankers to develop ideas for potential clients, both buy- and sell-side
• Researching relevant industry, competitive and transaction data
• Monitoring the public and private equity markets to develop additional business development ideas

Analysts are integral members of every deal team and expected to be active participants during every phase of the deal process. Analysts at Cascadia Capital are expected to demonstrate a high-level of commitment and are provided significant opportunity for material exposure to clients.

Qualifications
• Team player with a strong work ethic and desire to be part of a team committed to growth
• Minimum of twelve months experience in investment banking or private equity; candidates with one to two years of experience within public accounting or other financial services fields will also be evaluated
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or other relevant fields
• Experience and strengths in accounting, financial modeling and analysis, company valuation, business plan development, market/industry research and analysis
• Strong quantitative abilities, critical thinking skills, and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Displays superior responsibility, attention to detail, commitment, initiative, maturity and creativity in dealing with assignments
• Strong client interaction skills
• Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Internet Research)
• NASD Series 7 and 63 or the ability to obtain within 4 months of employment
