NapaStyle Corporate office based in Napa is seeking the following position:
OVERVIEW:
Responsible for managing the flow of merchandise from vendor to distribution center and from vendor direct to customer.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
· Demand forecasting at the category and sku level. Project orders based on inventories and rate of sale. Maintain quantities to sustain determined selling weeks of supply and defined fill rates.
· Enter orders in inventory system with appropriate lead times to ensure that receipts meet sales demand. Review orders weekly and modify as necessary based on trends.
· Analyze weekly/monthly business of assigned categories to understand trends, issues, opportunities, and recommend actions.
· Maintain positive vendor relations. Communicate orders accurately and timely so that vendor partners can effectively react and deliver merchandise.
· Other duties deemed necessary for department operations.
· Strong Excel and general computer skills.
· Retail experience a plus
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
