FREQUENT Q/A
- How can I verify I have a reservation prior to sending my $200 per passenger?
You will be able to verify it on line or by calling the airline.
- How do I verify I have a ticket issued by the airline before I pay the balance?
You will receive an electronic ticket issued by the airline. Additionally you can call the airline and verify your ticket has been issued.
- What happens if I want to change the date of travel?
You can change the dates of travel before or after your trip has started. A few airlines charge $50 for the changes, but most of them do not.
- How long before the departure date can I have my ticket issued?
You can have tickets issued up to eleven (11) months prior to departure. Note the earlier the reservation is made the better chances you have to get seat availability on the flights you desire.
- How soon after I request my reservation can I travel?
Usually getting the reservations and have the airline issue the ticket takes two days. However, all airlines charge an expedition fee of $50.00 if the trip is made within 14 days.
- Are these ticket s reimbursable? What happens if I decide to cancel my trip after the ticket has been issued?
Miles wiles be returned to the original account. All airlines charge a fee, and it would cost you $200.
- What else do I have to pay besides the quoted price?
All tickets pay taxes (including 9/11). The amount varies depending on the city and country. International travel taxes range from $20 to $90. Additional fees need to be paid to the airline for change of route, or dates of travel or expedition fee, which you are responsible for.
- Could I go from the States to Paris and come back from Rome?
Absolutely. This is one of the great advantages of award tickets. This is call “Open Jaw” travel, and it will cost the same.
- I am going to Bombay, India, but I would like to stop for a week in London. Is that possible? How much more do I need to pay?
Yes, it is done all the time. There is absolutely no additional cost, as long as the city where you want to make the stop is in the way to your final destination.
- Could I make my stop in another city at my return, or does it have to be in the outbound only?
You can make one stop free of cost in either direction.
- Can I schedule my trip for any day? Are there any restrictions?
Yes you can schedule your trip for any day, and there are no restrictions; however, note demand for seats increase drastically during some periods of the year, depending on where you are traveling. It is difficult to find availability of seats for instance, when traveling anywhere during Christmas and New Year season; also when traveling to Europe during the summer. Again the sooner you get your tickets the better.
- Can I use miles to travel in coach within the States or overseas?
Absolutely yes; however, note there are very cheap fares that can be found on line, and travel with miles would cost about the same. Miles are best used when traveling internationally in Business/First or Premiere First class.
- The question I have is not listed above. Can I give you additional questions?
Please do so. We will be happy to assist you, and assure you have a wonderful trip.
