I will take on a small project, such as a consultation, color consultation, a window solution or reupholstery job. And I love to sink my creative energies into large projects.
I will pay attention to your preferences and present you with choices that will be appealing and exciting. You choose your level of participation. Working with people is one of the perks of this profession.
I can purchase items for you through the Design Center, antique stores, and many other sources, depending on your needs, inclinations, and budget. I do not have one ‘style’, but seek to create beautiful spaces enhanced by comfort and flow, color, lighting, a balance of materials, and points of interest. My job is to create spaces that are pleasing to your sense of style. I also love to create a design for those who are unsure of their likes and dislikes.
My resources include the drapers, upholsterers, cabinet makers, electricians, etc. I work with. I have also accumulated a large collection of high-end fabrics, hand-knotted carpets, furniture, and decorative items, which I offer to my clients at a tremendous discount to retail.
My rates are very reasonable, and I accommodate various ways of charging for my time. Our first meeting is free so we can see if we are well matched, the exception being if you want consultation only.
