Bachem Americas is looking for a dynamic Inside Sales Representative who will actively participate in boosting our sales and in performing numerous customer service functions at our San Carlos site.
The energetic professional will seek and identify potential sales leads and support customers by accepting phone calls, following up with customer inquiries, processing orders and answering technical questions, as well as perform various inside and possibly outside sales duties.
Familiarity with MAS 2000 database system is a plus. The ideal candidate must have a life science degree and experience selling research reagents, with an emphasis on immunology products. Familiarity with API manufacturing is a plus. Some travel will be required. The successful candidate could be groomed for future outside sales responsibilities. Requirements:
· A BS or more in a scientific discipline (chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry, biology or equivalent) and strong immunology know how is required.
· Experience in a customer service department and sales experience a plus.
· Excellent computer skills; proficiency in MS office applications a plus.
· Above average written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to work constructively with people from a variety of operational groups and handling multiple responsibilities on a day-to-day basis.
