The 600+ servers were available 24x7xForever with 99.999% uptime, while
reliably delivering tens of millions of messages daily.
Directed teams of up to twelve software engineers (on-shore and offshore)
building secure enterprise class networked messaging systems.
Designed secure network infrastructures. Developed two separate SOA messaging
applications using SOAP/XML Web Services gateways, Apache SSL web servers,
clustered JBoss servers, Sonic MQ JMS clusters, MS SQL databases, email
servers, and fax servers.
Managed tier 3 incident response team. Authored disaster recovery and
business continuity plans. Promoted enterprise-wide awareness of security
threats and issues.
Documented and published a SOAP Gateway integration toolkit for customers.
Expanded Xpedite’s product offerings with high-volume encrypted
email.
Design and developed several dynamic IIS and JSP Web sites and Windows
applications.
Analyzed and scaled legacy architecture to improve billable throughput,
