INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER:
Neighborhood Infant Toddler Center is an NAEYC-accredited infant-toddler program caring for 12 children, ages 2 mos. to 3 years, with a staff:child ratio of 1:4. We are seeking an enthusiastic, interactive teacher with flexibility and strong communication skills. Monday - Friday, full time.
As the Infant-Toddler Teacher you and your co-teachers will work with the children to promote their physical, cognitive and social development, and assure on-going, age-appropriate activities and development of children. You will implement the learning-through-play curriculum and, with active participation of other members of the teaching team, work with parents in assessing the development of each child.
PRESCHOOL TEACHER:
Downtown Children’s Center (DCC) is an NAEYC-accredited program serving 24 children ages 2 years through entry to kindergarten. DCC is seeking an enthusiastic and creative teacher to collaborate with a teaching team of 4 other staff. If you enjoy working closely with others to create a warm, inviting and developmentally appropriate classroom environment you’ll love DCC. Monday - Friday, full time, 1:6 ratio.
TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be Teacher-qualified with a minimum of 12 ECE semester units, including the core courses. Experience working with infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers desired.
Able to safely lift 30 pounds from floor to waist level 10 to 15 times per day. Able to observe, see, hear and respond to children's needs 30 feet away within 30 seconds without danger to the staff member's health in all areas of center grounds and during off-site excursions. The following additional qualifications are desirable: CPR, First Aid certification.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS AND TEACHER’S AIDES
PACCC operates 7 Infant-Toddler-Preschool and 10 School-Age programs in Palo Alto and employs over 100 people. We welcome applications from individuals wishing to work part-time as a substitute Teacher or Teacher's Aide. Substitutes are kept working year round, and may determine the number of hours per day and which days of the week they are available to work – perfect for students!
