| Unless you are Pomo, Miwok, or another Native Californian, you don't really have any more right to live here than do the latest wave if immigrants. They are here to stay, get over it. In many cases, and at least one that I have observed myself, our newcomers from Latin America have vastly improved the area that they have taken over. I am thinking of the canal area of San Rafael. Twenty five years ago that place was like a scene from Night Of The Living Dead. Medway Road and the Palms Hotel area were infested with low life drug addicts and prostitutes, anybody who was around central Marin back then knows this is true. I will take a Central American laborer looking for work over a STD infected cocaine addicted prostitute standing on the street in my city any time. The influx of hard working, church going Latin Americans cleaned that place up like the city and county never could. I think we need to legalize everyone who is here, make decisions and stick to them about how many more should be allowed to come, and most importantly, stop the greedy of this country, who are really behind this, from capitalizing on cheap tax free labor. If every "illegal" working in our good old USA was paying into Social Security the looming crisis might be greatly postponed if not solved outright.
