Going away? Can't take your dog and don't want to just stick him/her in a kennel? You could hire someone to come in to feed and walk your dog but then, s/he would be alone all the rest of the time.

At In My Home Dog Boarding your dog is cared for in my home the exact same way as in your home. You provide me with all the necessary information to be sure your dog is happy, healthy and comfortable while in my home.
Your dog will get two long walks in Golden Gate Park, other dogs to play with and lots of TLC.
Individualized attention at no extra cost: If your dog has health or other special needs I can accommodate them. I am not only experienced in giving prescribed medications, I have also been trained by staff members at Balboa Pet Hospital to give injections and IV fluids. If you have an older dog, well, two of my dogs lived to be over 16 years of age so, I have lots of experience in caring for our senior canine companions.
At least two weeks advanced notice is desirable to guarantee space for your dog. I normally board a maximum of two dogs to ensure your dog gets the loving attention s/he deserves. Around holidays and the summer more advanced notice is definitely better as I get booked early for those dates.
At least one pre-boarding visit is required (two recommended) so your dog can become familiar with my home while you and I discuss everything I need to know to provide a safe and loving environment for your dog. And you don't want to leave your dog some place s/he has never been before with someone s/he doesn't know. That can be very traumatic for some dogs.
