Financial Engines is currently seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Implementations team. As an Implementation Manager, you will provide project leadership to implement advisory and investment management services for Institutional clients and coordinate efforts both internally and externally to ensure that all phases of each project from planning through implementation are completed with high quality and within specified time frames. Positions are available in our Palo Alto office. We offer a competitive compensation package including stock options and incentive bonus.
Responsibilities:
· Defining client plan requirements, data mapping, processing rules and developing business and functional specifications.
· Identifying functionality gaps and developing requirements to support complex plan designs.
· Working with testing and portfolio management groups to develop test populations and scenarios, and executing testing of system configurations.
· Defining and developing business requirements for provider recordkeeping files and interfaces.
· Interacting extensively with all parties affected by a service implementation to provide status, set direction and resolve issues.
· Assist in auditing services to ensure service quality.
· Assist in training of operations staff and handling problem escalation.
Qualifications:
§ Knowledge of Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, HR/Payroll businesses.
§ Proven ability to clearly define client requirements, and deliver solutions that meet both client and internal expectations.
§ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
§ Ability to work effectively with detailed business processes and technology.
§ Strong process improvement focus.
§ A passion for customer service with experience servicing both internal and external clients
§ Excellent communication skills.
§ Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task.
§ Analytical and detail-oriented.
§ Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
§ 3 to 5 years of experience in benefits systems implementation or administration is preferred.
§ SQL and database administration experience a plus.
