Internationalization Developer, Services Organization
Location: San Francisco Area, CA

Lingoport is a private company based in Boulder, Colorado, founded in
2001. Lingoport provides product and services that enable companies
to efficiently support language and formatting issues worldwide;
character sets, currencies, interface layouts, date/time and
numerical formats and more. By helping software developers create and
maintain world-ready software, Lingoport helps customers realize
global revenues while expanding the customer's worldwide competitive
position.
Lingoport has immediate need for software developers with
internationalization experience at a key customer account in the San
Francisco area (just south of the city). You will be part of a small
team responsible for leading the internationalization effort of a
large commercial product. This is a 3 month contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist customer by providing technical solutions to their
development needs, with guidance from our design team
• Responsible for internationalizing a commercial application,
co-developing, and co-testing
• Deliver on-site consulting services in support of our
Globalyzer product
• Deliver on-site development services in a cooperative team
project driven environment
Education/Experience/Skills Required:
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering
or equivalent
• 4-6 years of software development experience
• 2-4 years of consulting experience
• C++ experience a must
• Application internationalization experience
• Understanding of internationalization and localization
concepts
• Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture
• Must have strong customer relations, presentation and
communication skills
