Salary/hourly only, no MLM's (most of you working for an MLM business don't even know it heheh), I would like to learn new skills/knowledge (financial loans/accounting, real estate, taxes, grants, etc.), I can work with kids, in a professional setting, outdoors, with my hands, etc. I have excellent work habits when I am being treated fairly. You will know if I am displeased, I will speak my mind and get my issues resolved. I am a problem solver, which is why I live strees free except when it comes to females heheheh. I am a dream employee, unless you run a crooked business, I will see right through your lies and begin knocking holes in your story. I give as much as I am being compensated. For example, while at Papa John's they wanted me to answer phones and make pizza, well I referred them back to their own training manual which I went over with them again. I told them if they wanted me to do 3 jobs then I must get paid for three jobs. My job description involved delivery and box folding, that is what my hourly rate was based on. They understood my position and I remained a valuable employee, which they refused to let go even when I quit. Guitar Center let me go illegally, so they won't have anything nice to say about me. Also, the current SJ store manager is the one person who despised me. Why, well first of all I didn't like the fact he carried illegal guns to work daily, also I didn't think it was funny when he farted and he would laugh while we had to work in it. He was lewd, crude, and a loser which is why he is still there. You must speak with Glen Peiser if you want a truthful overview of my work habits. He may be under certain restrictions, since he informed me that when I filed for unemployment I was moved to the do not rehire list. When GC was asked why I was let go their responce was no responce, due to their guilt. I do not ever want to work for a such a crooked organization such as GC again. Ideally I would like to help an individual build their small business by providing a multitude of services for them.

OBJECTIVE: I wish to validate my degree by procuring a laboratory position supporting
R&D or QA/QC in the pharmaceutical, environmental, or biotechnology
industry.
EDUCATION: HUMBOLDT STATE UNIVERSITY, Arcata, CA
BS Cellular/Molecular Biology, May 2005
At Humboldt I performed a variety of modern techniques used in molecular
biology, such as the generation and subsequent isolation of a recombinant
protein by way of a baculovirus expression system and HPLC methods. I
have also performed the isolation, purification, and characterization of
various pigments, lipids, and cellular components by way of chemical,
centrifugal, chromatographic, electrophoretic (SDS-PAGE), and UV-Vis
spectroscopic techniques. Lipid analysis included p-bromophenacyl
esters and FAMEs derivatives using HPLC, GC, and GC/MS. I have also
isolated putative naphthalene degraders for bio-remediation studies of
PAH (coal tar etc.) contaminated sites. I maintained and understand the
importance of a clean and safe work environment inside and outside the
lab.

At MDS I gained an understanding of SOP’s and GLP’s in a professional
setting. My responsibilities included cleaning, disinfecting, and inspecting
of all glassware used in the facility. I was also responsible for the proper
treatment and disposal of biohazard waste, and with hazardous waste
disposal and log book maintenance. I prepared various concentrated
reagents as needed, and performed routine daily equipment maintenance.

Driver
When I tried to quit in order to take the job at MDS, the district general
manager had a meeting with me where he refused to let me go and kept
me on as an emergency driver even though I could refuse all work. Well
they never called me, and I got my discount from them until early 2003,
the last time my managers owned the business (living in Arcata).
4/98-7/99 GUITAR CENTER, San Jose, CA

After a brief stint as the doorman when I was hired, I was the first person

and settled into providing excellent customer service, while training the
constant influx of new employees.

To Whom It May Concern:
I had the very good fortune to have Steve Solmonson as an employee for almost a year here at MDS Pharma Services in Sunnyvale. Steve has proven to be an exemplary employee. He quickly learned the maintenance and support operations necessary to maintain and develop our bio-analytical laboratory. He contributes valuable suggestions and initiates new support efforts appropriately. He is very dependable, hard working, and accommodating. Steve is well organized and performs his work very efficiently. He keeps up to date with constantly changing SOPs and operations. I greatly value his self- starting ability, pragmatism, and trustworthiness. Steve works very well with everyone and will be sorely missed. I am confident that Steve will be successful in whatever professional endeavors he pursues. Further more, I believe any institution would benefit greatly to have him as an employee.
