Thirty-one years ago I graduated from Boalt Hall. Twenty eight years ago, disgusted, I quit the legal profession. Ten years ago I began writing a series of books on the Black Experience in the nineteenth century. Two of them are now ready for publication, but I still have to pay the rent, buy food, pay PG&E, etc. And I might never get the damn things published! Keep me off the streets! Stop me from being homeless and on food stamps! Hire me now!
Sincerely,
Victor C. Anderson
