I work at a nurseing home and the gal that was with my boss for 12 years came back after she quite.
So I got then lesser paying job work two days in exchange fo rent. That sucks because I really need that money that I was getting from this job.
To make matters worse the women is a tiny mean thing, very demanding, and controlling over everything. She is from the Phillppines and doesn't speak english well or write well either. She has been with my boss so long she has no car, and sent her family money from ths job. I know that she needs this job more them I do and maybe she feels threatened by me or that I am in her territory.
I changed a lot of the way the place looks and she comes in and rearranges everything in the place. Our job is set up like a house no dining room it's a lovely six bedroom home with three baths. I spend two hours one day cleaning a clients bedroom and organizing her dressing. I took out clothes that were three sizes too small and placed them into a bag for donations, as her daughter had asked of me. She then on her on days goes into that clients room and puts all clothes back into her room and puts them in different drawers. I put all her color long sleeves together and all that she goes and messes it up. So I went in and bags them on my day and gave them to charity.
She cried to my boss that I make her feel like she doesn't belong there because I say that everything she does is wrong. No I never did. She hides the laundry soap so I couldn't use it on my days on. I had to find it becasue we had a lady who stuffs the toilet with a ton of tp and the toilet over flowed twice in a day and I had ten bath towel with poo and had to wash them. I don't tell my boss it will only make it worse.
My boss says if I can't get along with her then I have to leave.
I cried because I came from a women's shelter and I haven't had a job in awhile becasue I have carpal tunnel and I have a case with Worker's Comp so id I have to leave I have no where to go. my boss knows this. this women knows this. My boss found my while I was at the shelter and begged me to work for her because she couldn't find reliable help.
I really like my boss and I know that she had to help her ex employee, but I hope it all works out i the end. Right now I am seeking side jobs to have money in my pocket. I do get food stamps because I wasn't working.
I must have patience and it will all work out in the long run.
