Monthly income goes up $165. Rent goes up $280. Single, disabled person w/2 kids, one w/special needs. Part time student to improve my situation. Part time employment, even though disabled and in chronic pain, and doctor limits my pain medication. I guess it doesn't pay to try to get ahead. Guess I'll have to find another place to live, but no money for deposit, cuz I'm not allowed to have a savings account; it's considered an asset. Heaven forbid I might actually be able to make progress and get off the system, but then someone would maybe lose their government job pushing all my paper around.
So much for helping people become independant.
