Title Humboldt County's Uprising Guitarist seeks Professional Crew (sunset / parkside)
Category Art & Artists : Modern
Created 03/15/06
Description Influences: Peter Gabriel, Seal, Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Eric Johnson, Satriani, Bob Marley, Marin Gaye, Tool, Megadeth, Peter Tosh, Jeff Beck, Bran van 2000, Thicker Than Thieves, Incubus,
Steve Vai, a smidgon of Nickleback ( just for the haters..lol ) Metallica ( when they were still Metallica ) Rob Zombie, A Perfect Circle, Kaura ( awsome professionally minded crew ), Taproot,
Benise, Al Di Meola, Jack Johnson, Gary Moore, Bad Religion, Rage Against the Machine ( before they became Cornello Slaves---kidding--their still bad--just not as raging ) Funkadellic-- Infectious Grooves ( they were on to somthing cool ) Damn is that enough??? I'm hoping to make a modern rock band that has a professional desire and attitude to play music that is enjoyable to a wide audiance-- It wouldn't be bad to have some original songs heard and played on the radio and be offered lost of money to do what we love-- I have written and recorded both for my own matereial as well as note-worthy playing on other records...Edi Fitz Roy--a reggae artist-- Jade Steel.com-- I played guitar on a number of tracks--& other demos. etc... I also attended and graduated from the Summer Session at G.I.T. in Hollywood, Ca.--summer of 92.' My resume includes--college classes ( 1 year of theory ) jazz improv classes, and private lessons some of which by the likes of Alex Skolnick, Paul Hanson ( G.I.T instructor ), and I've performed at large festivals like reggae on the River supporting other singers...so I can learn material pretty fast-- I can sing and play-- and yes-- I can play most noteably without an ego trip, drugs, or alcohol--and well if I sound otherwise---well what can I say-- One has to advertise the best they can---all serious musicans who read this-- I'm ready to not just be dedicated but to find the dedicated-- but the bottom line is to have fun to the point where working hard is easy--I'm looking to define success as a unit and a team not a soloist--To me--good song writing can over shadow virtuosity any day---and that's coming from someone who grew up on shred guitar-- taste and soul= powerful
