why do people want to live in this world where resources are dwindling, pollution is growing, the hole above the antartice growing bigger, fish having mercury and the coast of california getting dirtier and grosser every year, not to mention its brown sands and water...and air. Did i mention the recent leakages found in the Alaskan pipeling further contaminating the "last frontier?".
I hate living in a world where there's no balance. All "take take take" and no "give"--not giving back to mother nature or restoring what resources been used. I hate watching TV and seeing the propaganda.
Our president is screwed up, Hollywood has shitty movies, TV sells fantasies and just wants us to "buy buy buy"....not to mention their selective programming, as if its a "dumbing down" of our nation. I don't know why our government is so stupid like that -- not investing in the future of her children or planning a place/community where they will thrive but a place to die and get cancer. I hate how capitalism is shrouded in a veil of deception urging her people to consume eevreything and live in the "moment" because its cool and cool to wear this buy that drive that...and nobody questions how it got there and how it harms the environment...
i don't want to live in a world where species are becoming extinct rapidly, pills are being approved faster than running water and capitalism running rampant and poisoning goverment by giving them kickbacks to fuel their interests and not the interest of the public. So much lies, deception and violence. SO much double-talk and indidualistic ideas. No sense of a community helping each other. It's a dog eat dog world. In the end, or 20 yrs from now, i see a world with more wars, no oil, pollution of our fishstock, reefs, no rainforests--as a result no advances in medicine, more pork in capitalist's pockets because of backstracthing a government...
Ahh who cares right? Because in the end its the capitalist's and elite's children who will end up living and inheriting that ugly new world. I would rather die now, while things are at peace, and still ok..I just want those memories in my head, not of an era, a golden era gone by and have those talks "i remember the GOOD old days". So I see my exit from this world a selfless act not a selfish one compared to the capitalists and entrepreneurs and government powers who continue to poison the minds and rape their own for their own selfish monetary gains. The planet is hurt and she is angry...watch the weather...
