Description Full-time Rotating House Manager: Join an enthusiastic and dedicated team of care providers helping clients enhance their quality of life. Compassionate and professional team player needed to rotate at 7 Residential Support Service sites in Marin County. House management for a residential facility providing care and supervision for stable adults with chronic mental illness. The sites are located in beautiful settings in Marin County.

Supervision and training provided. Job description below.
Shifts will vary each week from a four 10-hour days shift to 52 hour shifts.
Clean CDL required and periodic need to use own car to travel between sites, mileage allowance provided.

POSITION: House Manager, with overnight duty, Residential Support Service

QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education: There is no diploma or degree requirement. However, consideration will be given to persons with education in the Social Sciences field.
B. Experience: Two or more years experience in providing and maintaining a home-like setting for others, e.g., a family, foster home, or group home. Experience with people with a mental illness is preferred.
C. Personal: Ability to relate well to others, to work on many projects simultaneously, and to be empathetic, warm, firm, stable and supportive with clients.
D. Physical Requirements: Physically capable of the following intermittent activities: stretching, bending, kneeling, twisting, squatting, reaching above and below the shoulder, pushing, pulling, grasping and lifting up to 40 pounds in weight. Physically capable of the following intermittent activities: driving, writing, standing and sitting.

DUTIES: Duties are performed at the residents’ home.
1. Provide support and guidance with residents in a manner that emphasizes acceptance, yet supports and responds to residents’ needs and readiness for growth and assumption of increased responsibility.
2. Participate in program planning and help implement program goals.
3. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management services.
4. Assure that medications are refilled in a timely fashion so there is a continuing supply.
5. Assist and supervise residents taking prescribed medications.
