JOB SUMMARY
To perform duties as Night Auditor as designated by the Guest Service Manager in a manner exceeding guest expectations.
JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Must be pleasant, courteous, professional, and respectful of guests at all times.
a. Make eye contact with every guest.
b. Greet every guest with a smile.
c. Sincerely welcome guests.
d. Ask guest how their stay was.
e. Uses name when answering the phone.
f. Handle all concierge functions related to the hotel.
2. Handles all guest accounts.
a. Checks in and out all guest accounts, explaining any questionable postings.
b. Handles any payment accepted by the hotel.
c. Posts all hotel, restaurant, and bar charges.
d. Responsible and accountable for contents and accuracy of own cash drawer.
e. Completes a thorough cashier audit at end of shift.
3. Complies with all Company and Department safety rules and procedures.
a. Follows procedures outlined in the emergecny binder.
b. Follows proper procedures to ensure hotel will not have any liabilities.
c. Handles all safety deposit box transactions.
d. When necessary is responsible for handling and storage of guests luggage.
4. Completes thorough shift check list.
5. Takes reservations when necessary.
6. Performs duties of PBX Operator at desk
7. Accepts laundry to be sent out for cleaning.
8. Ensures all group and meeting room functions are handled efficiently.
9. Ensures that all Front Desk materials are properly stocked.
10. Ensures all areas of the desk are clean and neat.
11. Makes reservations through Best Western Nova System.
12. Other related duties upon request.
