Edelman productions in Corte Madera seeks leading and supporting roles in first three shows for this season of Man, Moment, and Machine (M3) on the History Channel:
Shows:
1. General George Patton at the Battle of the Bulge (WW II)
2. Saddam Hussein and the Nerve Gassing of Kurds (1998 Gulf War)
3. The Dream of Apollo 13 (1970)
Roles:
1. Looking for a variety of 20 and 30 something actors to portray military enlisted men and officers-both American and German-for our WWII story.
2. Casting Iraqi, Iranian, and Kurdish military types for the Gulf War hour.
3. We will also need women and children who can portray Kurdish villagers and Iranian citizens under attack by Saddam's forces.
In addition, we are looking specifically for the lead actors:
4. Saddam Hussein - in his mid-forties at this time. Actors who can speak in Arabic or Kurdish dialects have a definite advantage.
5. General George Patton - mid fifties.
6. General Dwight Eisenhower - mid fifties.
7. Adolf Hitler - mid forties.
8. 9. 10. The Three Astronauts on board Apollo 13 - Jim Lovell, Fred Haise and Jack Swigert - late 20's early 30's.
11. Key players (male military type late 20's ealry 30s) to man the consoles at NASA's mission control.
