My resume is pasted below, in text format. Forgive its length; I never got good at resume writing, as I've so rarely actually needed one.
I am a 45 year-old escapee from the high-stress world of software development, looking for some contract work that I can do off-site (telecommute). I would prefer small, self-contained projects, but I will consider any project of interest as long as there is no problem with my working from my location. And so long as I am not expected to spend all my waking hours doing this work.
I have been designing and programming software professionally for about twenty years now, and I am VERY good at what I do. I have worked extensively with a very wide range of tools and languages over the years, on projects of all sizes. Most of my work over the past nine or ten years has been on web (and other internet-related) applications, so I have experience with many of the technologies currently used for web development, particularly - over the past several years - open source software.
Please contact me if you think my extensive experience and expertise might contribute to a symbiotic long-distance partnership.
Thanks for your consideration,
Larry Kostmayer
