We saw a dog walker beating a dog in Sibley Park Oakland, CA, today before 5pm.
The black and white dog she was beating answered to the name "Patches."
She was driving a late model blue Toyota Tacoma truck with a topper.
Her license plate is 7Y83089.
She seemed to be wearing a dog walker's license. She was walking 4 dogs.
She is a slim/medium build woman in her mid-50s with long thin dishwater hair.
We yelled at her to stop. She wouldn't give me her name. We reported this incident to the Oakland police but I'm sure the woman was gone by the time they got there.
How can we, as a community, find the owners of the dogs she walks?
If you can help find out the owner's names I'm sure they would be very interested to know that their dog walker is beating their dogs WE NEED TO PUT THIS WOMAN OUT OF A JOB!!!! OR AT LEAST NOTIFY THE DOG OWNERS!
