Account Executive Qualifications:
Candidates need 2-3 years experience in agency advertising, MARCOMM or a similar position in a non-agency setting. Strong writing and presentation skills are essential. Candidates must be detail oriented and have the proven ability to multi task. Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field required.
Key Responsibilities:
•Maintain contact with clients as appropriate and work with account teams to proactively offer and implement new ways to meet client needs.
•Participate in program presentations to clients or new business presentations.
•Facilitate teamwork by delegating and involving junior staff members when possible.
•Develop materials for client meetings and participate as appropriate.
•Review creative work plan with Creative and Production and coordinate implementation.
•Build understanding and knowledge of the clients’ business and their competitive environments.
•Work with financial manager to develop estimates, project budgets and related financial materials.
•Monitor client and competitor news through trade journals, newspapers and other sources.
•Assist senior management in developing proposals and gathering information for new business opportunities.
