Has your office park lost its spark? Are you a startup junkie looking for your next hit? This group of five bright, energetic, easy-to-work-with techies is looking for a couple more like-minded people for their early stage startup with good VC funding, an actual business plan, a spiffy website, and a brand spanking new office in downtown Palo Alto.
~ Web Developer: Lead the development of a web-based GUI for our application. You need to know HTML / CSS / Javascript like the back of your hand, and have a good eye for UI and interaction design. Experience with AJAX would be great, but this could also be your chance to learn. You must know how to take Photoshop designs and turn them into fast light-weight dynamic cross-browser web pages – you'll be doing that a lot. All experience levels considered, but this is definitely a hit-the-ground-running kind of job.
~ Web Application Developer: Play a key role in the design and development of our browser-based rich client application. This job will require you to be comfortable developing for the server (Java with a heavy reliance on Spring) as well as the client (JavaScript running inside various browsers). The end goal is to develop a feature rich and responsive interface that allows users to interact with our service without the traditional limitations of web-based applications. You need to have solid experience writing clean object-oriented JavaScript code that efficiently manipulates the DOM and interacts with a server, and you’ve preferably been doing it longer than the word AJAX has been around.
About Us: EchoSign recently launched an innovative web-based document management service at www.echosign.com. We are building a great mainstream platform for exchanging documents, and we're confident it's going to be successful, but we could use your expertise. In exchange, you get a nice salary, comprehensive benefits, a generous equity package, and of course all the soda you can drink. EchoSign is located in downtown Palo Alto, a block away from the CalTrain station (30-something minutes by bullet train from SF), and across the alley from the Gordon Biersch brewery. Our office used to be a Cadillac dealership, so it’s a pretty classy place.
If either of these sound like the right job for you, email us and tell us about the cool things you've been working on. Please be familiar with our website, and include three ideas for how you’d improve it (features, design, or usability) along with your resume. We look forward to hearing from you.
