Hoffman NEMA type 12 enclosure on pedestal; measures 31" square by 68" tall. We bought several of these to make into gunsafes and cabinets for the storage of valuables. This one is a leftover. The steel box is made of about 1/8" thick metal, it has locking doors on both sides. There is a removeable partition dividing the cabinet in half vertically which allows each side to have shelves and racks installed as needed. These can be found on Hoffman's 'site listed as 'free standing type 12' enclosure. In addition to gunsafes some have been made into storage bays for valuable wine, locker for proprietary software and a safe place to keep one mans tools away from carless teens. A novel application might be to house electrical components such as relays and circuit breakers. This weighs 650 lbs, it will be up to the buyer to arrange freight or pick it up in Morgan Hill, Ca. Integral defeater on master door handle requires a screwdriver to open
Mechanical interlock activated by master door prevents slave doors from being opened first. Doors can be closed in any order.
Preferred cutout on right flange provides mounting for most disconnect operators
Platform provided in 24.12-inch (613mm) deep enclosures to raise some disconnects to proper height
Finish
Stainless steel enclosures are upainted. Optional panels are white. Door handles are zinc die-cast with black textured polyester powder paint. Chrome plated lifting eyes.

Disconnect switch (or circuit breakers), operating handle, and operating mechanism, are not furnished with enclosure.
