Our client is an established, incorporated BioDiesel refiner in Northern California. Their landlord is selling out and wants them to buy the 10 acre property. It’s an opportunity to secure their long-term facilities needs, but their investors are “friends-and-family” and now they need more resources fast. We’re putting out a call to the universe to Be Here Now for these great people.
Wanna give the oil industry a nice wet raspberry? Wanna invest in clean air and sustainable fuel sources? Wanna do well by doing good? We’re looking for a total of $2.6 mil and we’ll take it any way it comes: one terrific person who wants to stand up and make it happen, or a group of folks who each contribute what they can. Heck, we’ll even pass the hat and take donations if individuals or a foundation wants to contribute that way.
The real estate is well-situated, with modern buildings close to major highways. It’s suitable for a variety of tenants. One idea we’re thinking about is to develop a green-business eco-park. A next-door neighbor business needs space and would lease or invest. The landlord-seller will rent back for some period of time. Possibilities abound.
