Artisan Confections Company, a division of The Hershey Company, is currently seeking a Graphic Designer for a contract assignment to create and design art and copy for visual presentations for Scharffen Berger Chocolate Maker and Joseph Schmidt Confections.
The contract assignment will begin immediately and will last approximately 4 to 6 weeks. The assignment will be based in Berkeley at the offices of Scharffen Berger.
This position is responsible for designing art and copy for printed promotional materials including website, email newsletters, catalogs, brochures, flyers, and program and media guides. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a graphics library, communicating with printers/publishers and outside design firms, inspecting proofs for accuracy, and writing printing and other reproduction specifications (ink, paper and print quality).
In order to be considered for this assignment, you must have the following:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline.
2. Three to five years of prior experience designing print or web-based materials.
3. Knowledge of photographic equipment.
