A.S.K. Learning is a global, high-end multimedia company specializing in e-learning. With offices in San Francisco, London, Sydney, Beijing, and Singapore, we provide highly creative interactive pieces to Fortune 500 companies on five continents. We are currently looking for a very talented Financial Accountant to join our fun, energetic team in downtown San Francisco.

JOB SUMMARY
This is a customer-facing role which involves limited, but consistent interaction with A.S.K. Learning customers, both internal and external and is a support role A.S.K. marketing efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Marketing collateral design and creation
• PowerPoint slide presentation enhancement
• Help redo all of the collateral, data sheets, binder covers, etc
• Help specify Web imagery and visual brand “palette”
• Produce replacement graphics (using an updated styleguide)
• Mockups for brand re-development

QUALIFICATIONS
This role is a support role for both A.S.K. and one of its major clients. This will require the ability to manage multiple projects from two different clients, as well as the ability to work with conflicting timelines. It will require the ability to communicate expectations, deliver on deadline and take design cues from existing material as well as art direction. The Graphics Support role will function to update a variety of materials and mediums, including; web-pages, print layout (such as Quark or Indesign), presentations (PowerPoint), and collateral (Microsoft Word). The ability to bring a consistent clean and corporate look to each medium will require a "jack-of-all-design-trades" to competently complete tasks. Comfort with presenting work to a client, and communicating using the phone or email will be required.
• Mastery of PowerPoint as a design tool
• Proven competency at creating clean corporate websites using Dreamweaver
• Expert knowledge of print design programs, issues and solutions
• Portfolio demonstrating clean corporate design

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or University preferred; or 3 or more years related business experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in graphic design, production design, corporate graphics support is helpful.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities at this time. This role will usually be provided specific direction, both in terms of tasks, as well as art direction in terms of style. Actual production work is quite independent of others but reliant on information, schedules and objectives provided by others.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, and professional journals, and requests for proposals. Ability to craft proposals, business correspondence, and various internal communications. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Sales Executives, colleagues, managers, customers and others.

MATH SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as pricing margins, commissions, percentages, proportions. Ability to apply basic business concepts of algebra. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical situations.

COMPUTER OPERATIONS
Need to have expert design skills using Microsoft Office applications particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Expert experience with print layout applications such as InDesign, Quark and Illustrator is a must. A demonstrated ability to use Dreamweaver to build clean corporate design websites is necessary. Ability to use Flash is a definite plus. Complete comfort in a Windows based OS is necessary.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written , oral or schedule form.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions or requests from a variety of sources and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Maintain a valid driver’s license and appropriate automobile insurance.
