Howdy!
We're on the hunt for some fabulous Bike Messenger & Business
Pedestrians for a one day shoot for Godspeed, a film based on the book
of the same name by Lynn Breedlove. Godspeed is a fiscally sponsored
project of Intersection for the Arts, SF's longest running arts
collective.
We're looking for folks of every gender and skin color (especially
non-white people) for Sunday March 19th shoot from 11am-7pm. You must
have your own clothing or the extra you wish to portray, including a
bike or briefcase.
We are also seeking immediate help with the following for the Official
Shoot in late July early August. In your reply please let us know
your availability for July & August:
Grant Writer (starts immediately)
--Writes and submits grants in a deadline driven environment. We are
offering a flexible percentage rate for grants, dependent on your
experience and writing expertise. Most writing for the project,
including the budget, is already complete. Ideally, this person will
also be able to ask for private donations from individuals from a list
we will provide. Confidentiality and attention to detail are important
for this position. Please send a resume and writing sample to apply.
Production Coordinator (starts immediately)
--helps DP & Director break-down the script; arranges cast, equipment
and crew to set locations including call sheets for set location.

Script Supervisor (June-August)
--helps DP, Director & AD to maintaing script continuity on set. Helps
PC break-down script. Resume & reel if available.
Craft Services (immediate meeting then June-August)
--we really would love to find someone who loves to cook, has their
own equipment and vehicle to move it and would like a chance at
feeding an exciting group of cast & crew for this community-based
project. We are in the process of writing donation grants for food and
ideally would have you on board to make that request. Proposed recipes
and resume, please.
Production Assistants (start immediately)
--a good attitude, reliability and punctuality are all intergral to
this position. Perhaps the funnest and hardest position on the set.
You will have your hands in everything. Must own or have frequent
access to a motor vehicle with trunk. Often you will be an extra on
the camera too. Resume required.
Currently all positions are unpaid, w/ copy, credit and meals
provided. We are just commencing our fundrasing strategy and plan to
pay everyone minimal Low Budget Agreement values. This March 19th
shoot is a test shoot and on camera rehearsal. The OFFICIAL SHOT is
planned for late July early August.
