Essential Job Functions:
Research potential funding opportunities and support the management team in the development of grant solicitations.
Work with the management team to ensure that Annual Reports, newsletters, e-bulletins and other communications pieces speak to our donor audience and serve a fundraising purpose in addition to donor education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people from a wide diversity of backgrounds and cultures
• Strict attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills. Good editing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, problem solve, and have excellent follow through.
• Familiarity with MS Windows platform is necessary, including high-level skills in MS Word.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Previous experience working for a non-profit
