| Thirty-five hours per week position, Monday-Friday, 9-4. Will consider full-time, 9-5 for the right candidate. Duties will vary daily but include complete responsibility for cleaning a 2300 square foot, two story townhome. Must be experienced in how to clean a room thoroughly. Comprehensive cleaning includes bathrooms (2.5), floors (carpet, tile, wood), windows and all surfaces. Early and temporary duties will also include assisting with organizing the house after the combining of two households. Could include some cleanout of closets and garage. On-going duties will include laundry and ironing for three adults, changing bedding and other linens on a schedule, and dishes (dishwasher). Duties also include light meal preparation including lunch (sandwiches or soups or salads), for 1-2 people and start-up prep for the evening meal before leaving for the day. Finally, must have transportation as some errands will be necessary. Also, companionship for elderly, well-educated woman is desired as time permits including driving her to local appointments in the East Bay. Must be personable for this and speak English. Looking for someone to fit in with the needs of the family on a long term basis.
