The Concept
We offer a 30-minute total body circuit workout, yoga and pilates classes, personal training, esthetician and massage services, nutritional counseling, cardio equipment, free weights, and shower/locker facilities in an appealing, feminine environment. Maya's opened on January 7, 2005, and is growing rapidly. The Center is the first location in a rapidly expanding strategy.
Job responsibilites, skills we seek:
- Friendly, self-motivated, high-energy individual(s) with a strong interest in fitness and health
- Ability to motivate, help others achieve their fitness goals, and retain members
- Attention to customer needs, customer-service focused
- Sell new membership; must have strong interest and comfort with sales
- Other responsibilities include answering the phone; registering members for workout, classes, and spa appointments; billing and collecting payments; orienting new members to fitness equipment; participating in group circuit workouts; training new hires
- Individual must be willing to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, start-up environment
- Fitness, front-desk experience is a definite plus.
- Must be punctual to open doors in timely manner
Hours Required:
- Maya's is open M-F 6am - 8pm and Sat/Sun 8am - 12 pm. Currently we have part-time positions available:
- M-F 5:45am -10:00/11:00am
- Sat/Sun and on-call
