I guarantee rapid technical progress when we apply the principles illustrated in my book, “The Seven Points: A New Proportional Approach to Cello Technique.”
My 15 years of teaching has included private students and university classroom settings. I have had the opportunity to work with students from all walks of life, including those who have moved on to have music careers. I have studied with several influential classical and non-classical teachers, and have numerous graduate degrees in music. I was a member of the Wichita and Eugene Symphonies, the New Pickle Circus, and the 100th Monkey Ensemble. Currently, I can be heard with Joan Jeanreaud (formerly of the Kronos Quartet), the Dresher Ensemble, the CKW Trio, and “You Said Saturday.”
I offer 60 and 90-minute sessions. Please email me at: alex@alexkelly.com to set up an interview.
