Yes, there’s a catch. Metropolitan Golf Links is seeking volunteers to be on-course marshals to make sure everyone plays in less than 4.5 hour rounds. If you have ever been accused of being a decent golfer, a person with tact, good communication skills, who is friendly, courteous, NICE, and dependable then I would like to talk with you. Could you get Attila the Hun to pick up the pace? Would you be able to ask Donald Trump to kindly get out of the Environmentally Sensitive Area? Are you a long time golfer with people skills? Can you volunteer eight hours a day, one set day a week on a regular basis? Currently the hours are approximately from 6:30am – 2:30pm. Your degree of efficiency will be measured.
