When I was just a kid of a boy, Flicks were my favorite candy.
I would always buy them at Fox store (now Longs Drugs in Alameda)
Then my friends and I would go to the movies on a Saturday afternoon at the Alameda Theatre.
It only had one giant screen back then and a balcony.
Those were the best of times.
Now I am old, Fox burned down, Alameda Theatre no longer exists.
And Flicks are...well believe it or not they are back in the year 2006!
