JOB SUMMARY:- Direct facilities maintenance staff responsible for several buildings and extensive landscaping on a corporate compound. Handle day to day task scheduling, employee scheduling, and supervise and lead work efforts of the facilities team. Report directly to the Administrative Officer or Operations Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- General maintenance of property and related real estate, which may include rental property and tenant issues
- Inspect premises daily to determine general condition of property
- Maintain Facilities Task Manager program for recurring maintenance work and project tracking.
- Maintain safety standards as outlined by the company on all activities related to our business.
- Day to day management of facilities staff
- Day to day management of outsourced project staffs/contractors when applicable
- Ready to serve the emergency needs of the firm 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Responsible for general grounds maintenance to keep the property looking professional and presentable to guests.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Outstanding people skills
- Must have a can-do, get-the-job-done attitude
- Willing to be on call 24/7 as needed
- 3-5 years experience in a maintenance service-related position
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with basic software applications
- Able to work in high places, such as roofs
- Able to operate or learn to operate the following equipment safely:
- General construction tools such as but not limited to chain saw, small engine tools, spray paint, vacuum, wood splitter; jackhammer, ladders
- dump Truck, Tractor, company vehicles (Class C) with trailer
- General understanding of and skills in
- Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire sprinkler systems, concrete grading and pouring, automobile maintenance
- Building codes, fire codes, government relations with Building Department
