An established, internationally reputable Pilates' Studio (founded in 1989) in Half Moon Bay (and San Francisco) is looking for an experienced Pilates' teacher for a part-time to full time position. Upward mobility is possible. A Wednesday full shift is open now (12 pm - 8 pm, with breaks), with other days available for teaching.
The studio prefers experience in the following: certificate of completion from a comprehensive Pilates program, and experience in teaching both the classic style Pilates (romana Kryzanowska - New York style) and the modified Pilates with physical rehabiliation emphasis. We also welcome experience in the following: any of the Master Elder's work (i.e. Ron Fletcher, Eve Gentry, Kathy Grant, etc), Feldenkrais, Aston patterning, BMC, Laban, physical therapy, Alexander, Eric Franklin).
Sessions that are offered at the studio: Solo and duet sessions. Mat classses with 2 - 4 attendees. Clients are matched in the classes according to level.
Excellent pay, great education opportunities. Discounted sessions available to teacher to continue his/her study of the Pilates Method and Feldenkrais. Workshops by internationally respected professionals are hosted by the SF studio. Teachers are welcome to sit in on the teacher training course and the making of books and teacher training manuals.
